CAL: Most Common Licensing Error
For products like Windows Server, a licence is required for the server itself, and for the devices connecting to the server and an additional CAL for each user or device (Client Access Licence) is required. Compare software licensing proposals on equal terms
Similar product names may not imply the same usage rights. The offer must clearly include the full name of the product, version, licence type, subscription duration, and user or device coverage. Additional access licence requirements should be checked separately in server and remote access scenarios.
Purchasing new licences without compiling the existing licence inventory can lead to budget allocation for unused or overlapping rights. Consider assigned users, unused accounts, and renewal dates together.

Why should I use an original license?
